Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By visiting LugaCinema or creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Who can use LugaCinema

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself.

3. Accounts

Provide an email address you control. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else. We may suspend an account that is being used for fraud, abuse, or activity that breaks these terms.

4. Plans and payments

  • LugaCinema sells fixed-length passes (for example a day, a week, or a month). Each pass is a one-time payment — there is no subscription auto-renewal, and nothing is charged again unless you buy another pass.
  • Prices are shown in Ugandan shillings (UGX) and are payable through Pesapal using MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, or a card.
  • A pass gives you access until its expiry date. Buying a new pass while one is active extends your access from the current expiry date rather than replacing it.

5. What you may do with the service

With an active pass, you may stream titles for your own personal, non-commercial viewing, and use the in-app download feature for offline viewing while your pass is active. This is a licence, not a sale: you are not buying the content itself.

6. What you may not do

  • Share your account, or sell or give away access to it.
  • Copy, record, redistribute, or re-upload any content, including downloads.
  • Use tools to scrape, bulk-download, or extract the catalogue or the videos.
  • Remove watermarks, credits, or ownership marks from any title.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to harm the service or its users.

7. Content

Titles are VJ-translated and licensed for the territories we serve. The catalogue changes over time: titles may be added, rotated out, or become unavailable, and a pass does not guarantee any particular title will remain available. Availability can also be affected by your network.

8. Intellectual property

The LugaCinema name, logo, apps, and website are ours. The movies and series belong to their respective rights holders. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of either to you. If you believe content on LugaCinema infringes your rights, contact support@lugacinema.com and we will review it.

9. Service availability

We work to keep LugaCinema running, but the service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that are not caused by our breach — including interruptions, loss of saved playback position, or a title being unavailable. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the pass in question.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using LugaCinema at any time, and you may ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property and liability limits) continue to apply.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do. Continuing to use LugaCinema after an update means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, and the courts of Uganda have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions? Email support@lugacinema.com.
